What is the Business Processes Outsourcing Association of Kenya?
The Business Processes Outsourcing Association of Kenya (BPOAK) is a BPO association that offers outsourcing solutions to all sectors, while providing sustainable work opportunities to Kenyan professionals.
The goal of BPOAK is for Kenya to become the top BPO destination in Africa. It seeks to work with pertinent stakeholders to improve the business climate for the industry’s continued development.
The BPO Association of Kenya also wants to increase the sector’s visibility and competitiveness on a national and international level.
BPOAK envisions the industry becoming a sustainable pillar of Kenya’s economy by creating quality jobs for citizens.

Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) is the voice of Kenya’s private sector. It was established in 2003.
KEPSA brings together business associations, chambers of commerce, professional organizations, multinational corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and start-ups from all facets of the economy.
Additionally, KEPSA provides business opportunities for training, networking, financial linkages, mentorship, and coaching, as well as access to markets, value chains, and international investment opportunities.
KEPSA unites these companies under one umbrella with its broad membership categories, which represent over a million businesses.

There are three pillars by which the BPO Association of Kenya lives and concerns itself:
- Destination Kenya marketing: As established, BPOAK aims to promote the BPO sector’s domestic and international recognition and enhance its presence and competitiveness in new markets and emerging technologies.
- Enabling sector policy: The BPO Association of Kenya intends to represent the industry before legislative and regulatory bodies to create an environment that will support members of the value chain.
- Building infrastructure and capacity: BPOAK collaborates with key stakeholders to build infrastructure and capacity for the sector’s sustainable growth.
