iQor expands Colombia contact center, aims to add 500 workers
FLORIDA, UNITED STATES — Business process outsourcing (BPO) firm iQor has expanded its contact center in Medellín, Colombia, and is looking to add over 500 workers to its headcount.
The expansion includes an additional 22,000 square feet of office space for a total of 45,000 square feet. The new facility aims to increase iQor’s Colombia headcount to over 1,000.
“Our goal is to create a positive impact by providing employment opportunities and delivering unparalleled customer experiences,” said Fabian Garcia, Senior Director of Operations and Country Lead for iQor Colombia.
iQor launched the Medellín facility in March 2023, its first contact center in South America. It was the last piece in iQor’s mission to operate in 10 countries to meet the surging demand for BPO services.
The BPO company has contact centers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad & Tobago, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, and Poland.
Before the launch, the BPO firm announced its intention to hire 500 bilingual workers in Colombia, offering flexible hybrid work environments with work-in-office and work-at-home opportunities.
iQor secured the 38th spot in the 2023 Time Doctor OA500, the first objective index of the world’s top 500 outsourcing companies. The 2024 edition of the OA500 will be released next month.
iQor is also subscribed to the Outsource Accelerator (OA) Source Partner Program, a powerful tool that helps BPO firms with marketing, sales, and business intelligence.
