TTMC’s telemarketing campaign fuels growth for UK tech firm
BRIGHTON, UNITED KINGDOM — A proactive telemarketing campaign by The Telemarketing Company (TTMC) has delivered strong results for Sussex-based tech provider Start Communications.
Start offers voice, data, mobile, and security solutions to organizations across sectors. Seeking to accelerate growth, the company adopted a more proactive approach and engaged TTMC to generate sales appointments after previous positive experiences.
The campaign focused on transitioning businesses to digital phone systems before the 2025 analog switch-off. TTMC arranged meetings for Start with decision-makers at local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to discuss solutions.
TTMC gathered key details to qualify opportunities during calls, including current provider, contract timelines, and user numbers. Appointments were categorized by priority as ‘Hot,’ ‘Warm,’ or ‘Cold.’
The telemarketer quickly demonstrated strong knowledge of Start’s offerings, established rapport using local customer examples, and optimized the approach through call monitoring and feedback.
In the 5-week pilot, TTMC achieved 115% of the target, delivering 5 ‘Hot’ appointments per week. Start has already won new business and extended the campaign to larger firms after the success.
“Our initial 5-week campaign gave us a good return on investment, and we have used this to reinvest into another campaign immediately after,” said Richard Scott, Sales Director and Co-Founder at Start Communications.
TTMC’s consultative approach and optimization enabled the campaign to generate a strong sales pipeline. The results highlight outsourced telemarketing‘s value for tech firms looking to accelerate growth proactively.
